About Us
Ken Casazza— Born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He attended New Dorp High School and was a member of the Football team; he helped lead his team to the 1949 Championships. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force and was sent overseas. While in England he met and married his wife Jean. After his active duty was finished, he bought his family home to the United States and lived in Staten Island raising his family. In 1970 he purchased land in Ashland, NY and opened up a campground. The campground has remained in existence to date. In 1992 upon the purchase of his first modular, which was his home, the manufacturer’s representative coaxed him into selling them. He jumped at the chance to start selling them and quickly learned all there was needed to know. He proved to be a marketing genius and quickly took KJ Modular Homes to the success it is today. He won countless customer satisfaction awards and he was a member of Crest Homes Million Dollar Club. Ken was always a man of his word and would help anyone to achieve his or her goal. He was honest and forthright. Unfortunately, in 2008 he lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer, however his legacy does live on and thanks to his groundwork K-J Modular Homes remains a success to date. |
| Jean Casazza—Born and raised in England, Jean grew up during the war and experienced air raids and bombing. Thankfully she met Ken and married. She came to the United States and lived and raised her family in Staten Island, NY. Jean proved to be the driving force behind her husband. She quickly jumped in to help, when the campground was opened. She held down a full time job in the city and on the weekends would run the camp kitchen, and the store. She would cook all you can eat breakfasts and dinners. On Sundays she would offer senior citizen discounts to the locals and make them a delicious dinner. To date she still runs the campground. She is also instrumental in the modular home business and works tirelessly to keep everything in order. |
